Question by Catherine: When a potential employer does a consumer credit check what does that usually include?
I looked it up on google, and it said that it could include the possible employees credit scoring, driving record, interviews from neighbors, past employment history, investigations into times of no employment, criminal history, etc. Does it usually include all of those things?

The Banks Money Creation From Your Credit Application

The Banks Money Creation From Your Credit Application

Banks can create money out of thin air. THEY CAN’T DO THAT, CAN THEY? Yes they can, Dorothy, and they do. They create money from your promise to repay a loan …that’s how. Very simply put, when you go to the bank and get a loan for a house, car, or credit card you promise to repay the loan with interest by signing a contract. You create debt. The bank then takes that “promise to pay” to the Central Bank. They get at least nine times that amount on your piece of paper or your credit application. So the bank creates money from a piece of paper that you sign. In other words, banks create as much money as we can borrow. Most people do not know where money comes from. How does a dollar appear? Let’s say that there is .00 in the total economy. Who makes the decision to change that number to .00? Most people would answer “the government” or “the central bank”. These are good guesses, but they are wrong. The correct answer is: you do.

When you borrow a hundred dollars, those hundred dollars appear magically in the economy. They did not exist before you took out the loan and they will not exist after you repay it. The monetary system works like this, somewhat simplified: a bank must have a certain fraction of its outstanding loans as savings accounts. That’s called a “reserve”. If that fraction is 1/9 (a common number), and you deposit in a bank, that bank has the right to get from the Central Bank and lend it to other people, at a higher interest rate. “…I am afraid that the ordinary citizen will not like to be told that banks can and do create money. And they who control the credit of the nation direct the policy of Governments and hold in the hollow of their hands the destiny of the people.” Reginald McKenna Past Chairman of the Board, Midlands Bank of England.

Banks Lend Promises. In the real planetary, if you need a hammer and go to your neighbor to borrow the hammer, a piece of paper that promises to lend you that hammer does not work…. You need the hammer in the artificial pecuniary global; a promise to pay money that the banks dose not have is passed off as money. Banks do not lend money. They lend assure to supply money that they do not possess. So, if we can have no money without debt then if there is no debt then there is no money? That is exactly flop. You might want to read that sentence again.

No Debt = No Money People like you create more than 95% of the money today by signing a piece of paper promising to pay indorse the bank for money that the bank never had to lend. That’s not double talk, it is fact. A long time ago when we were on the gold standard, we could only print money that was eqaul to the amount of gold that the government had to back it up. Moreover, when we needed more money, we had to mine more gold. That is not true today. If you look on a dollar bill you will see that it says “Federal Reserve Note” and “This note is legal raw for all debts public and private”.

Now you are confused, redressed? What exactly does Federal Reserve mean? Who are these people and how did they get involve? They are the people that print and regulate your money. Don’t you think you should know who they are?

Do you remember when we talked about the Central Bank and how banks take your note to them and get at least nine times the note? This bank also is known as the Federal Reserve System or the “Fed”. It prints all the money in the United States. Now the Fed is a very curious institution. Some people think that the Federal Reserve is a part of the government. We did research and here is what we found revealed.

“…I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around {the banks} will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs. ” Thomas Jefferson (1743 – 1826), Letter to the Secretary of the Treasury Albert Gallatin (1802).

slow pay them off and don’t use agnecy they can ruin your credit and mess you up. what you do is first find disclose what you owe then what payment they want and how much interest? if its small and its like tell 30 to pay i would double or triple it apiece month and slowly it will be gone and done it may take a year or so but its good for you to learn and ne’er do that again.

Question by cschuson: On a credit card application, should I put my apartment rent total, or just my third?
Applying for my first credit card and on the application it asks for your monthly housing payment. I live in an apartment with two roommates. I’m wondering if I should put down the full rent payment, or only my third of the rent?

Best answer:

Answer by sheloves_dablues
If the lease is in your name, and you’d have to cover the whole amount if there were no room-mates, indicate the whole amount. If you are not on the lease, indicate only what you pay on a monthly basis.

Consumer Credit Counseling Services

Consumer Credit Counseling Services

Types of consumer credit counseling services have existed for years. From the beginning of time, there have been people who used credit more than they could afford to, and it is no different today. The real difference may be in the extraordinary large numbers of consumers in debt. If the over trillion in unsecured consumer debt is divided by the number of adult Americans, everyone has a hefty share. Many want to eliminate that debt completely.

With the downturn in the current economy catching many people unaware, consumer credit counseling services are a booming business. And, with any rapidly growing industry, many have sprung up that have no intention other than taking advantage of people who don’t understand their own finances. The savvy consumer will do quite a bit of research before settling on a company to use, and will also understand all the different methods of debt relief that are available to them.

Consumer credit counseling services come in all shapes, forms and fashions. There are non-profit organizations run by churches, colleges and even the military. Some are truly non-profit, but others only pretend to be. There are debt resolution companies, who manage finances but whose work is aimed at settlements or management rather than instructional advice.

As the consumer researches various options, it should give him or her a good idea of what method will work best given their financial situation. Pre-consumer credit counseling services will depend largely on investigation. Taking a good and hard look at the situation and measuring it up against various debt relief methods is smart. Then, finding a company to work with and investigating its accreditations, references and online history is a must. The consumer can often find out either enough to make them run from a company, or sign up for their services. But, having enough information to make an intelligent decision is what’s crucial.

Good consumer credit counseling services will help advise the consumer on managing money, offer several solutions for current problems, and help them to develop better habits for the future. It is far more than just a couple of phone calls. It’s getting a relationship going that is helpful and insightful too. It may not be the most entertaining class time a consumer has ever spent, but it may be one of the most important. The time spent doing homework on what is needed is just the beginning for the consumer. And, hopefully, it is a good beginning.

Unsecured lending saw the biggest improvement, experiencing year-on-year growth in the final quarter for the first time since 2005. In contrast, retail finance has fallen year-on-year for eight successive quartered.
More lenders than not reported an improvement in losses due to default on unsecured lending in Q4 2010. This was the first improvement since Q1 2008. Write-offs on credit cards rose slightly to £1.2bn in Q4, but are still well below the peak of £2.1bn in Q2. Write-offs on unsecured personal loans also appear stable.

Question by Deak: What is the punishment for lying about age on a credit card application?
I’m underage (16) and I got to thinking about people my age who have credit cards (and not with their parents account/consent). They’ve lied about their age on the application. Is there any punishment for this? Does anyone find out? Could a minor really get into trouble for this? Can’t you but pay off the card?

Best answer:

Answer by **()**
I really don’t think they care…as long as one makes the monthly payments.
