On a credit card application, should I put my apartment rent total, or just my third?

Applying for my first credit card and on the application it asks for your monthly housing payment. I live in an apartment with two roommates. I’m wondering if I should put down the full rent payment, or only my third of the rent?

If the lease is in your name, and you’d have to cover the whole amount if there were no room-mates, indicate the whole amount. If you are not on the lease, indicate only what you pay on a monthly basis.

Only what you pay (the 1/3rd)
