Consumers dont want more credit card debt for useless crap. Consumers want to save, and cut their budgets.

The problem is, government doesn’t want to cut its budget (which is 3x what it was in 1990) or worldwide military empire.

So how should govenrment punish those evil consumers who want to save? What is an appropriate punishment?

Simple answer – create more taxes to seize their money, then pocket some, then hand the remainder to people who don’t produce anything just to “create jobs”.

If folks are sensible enough to save their money then it will have to be seized from them by force. That’s the Communist way.

It already does punish savers with the Federal reserve weakening the dollars that they save. By the way, I am consuming a lot of gold and silver coins right now.

Make them pay for stimulus packages, bank bailouts, and auto bailouts, until they finally scream uncle.
